The CVBL All-Stars dropped a tough game
this year to the best of Vermont's Green Mountain League in a wooden-bat contest at Plattsburgh
State's Chip Cummings Field. The All-Stars from west of Lake
Champlain jumped out to an early lead, but the Green Mountain League
rallied to take the game and avenge their loss at Centennial Field last
season. Many thanks to all who attended, and particularly our
counterparts across the lake: the past two seasons have produced some
great baseball between the two squads, and hopefully the positive
relationship between the leagues involved will continue on into the
