A great crowd turned out on a gorgeous evening for baseball at Lefty Wilson Field.

Mudhens/All-Star coach Roger Barnard, the Mariners coaching staff, and umpires Dean Newhart and Ron Chase confer prior to the game.

Barnard does yeoman's work as the BP pitcher to a particularly large and hard-hitting lineup.

The All-Stars' first pitcher was their fastest, as Tom Neale clocked an 88 MPH fastball.

Anyone familiar with the menacing Neale would not have been surprised.
